Day 1 & 2 - Draenei
Prior to reviving XFGREAPER I decided to take my girlfriend into WOW and see if she liked it. The first day she got a little frustrated since she is definitely NOT a gamer she had trouble controlling her character, how she was looking, how she could control it with both the mouse and keyboard and how A,W,D, was a an essential part of the control in many cases. Then just explaining the screen the UI. Where to find the map, how to find the character, what you click to get your character to attack, what button you click to NOT attack.
After all was said and done the first day although a little frustrating was rather fun and both of us playing the same character. Me playing one I have never played before we both are Paladins and so far it looks pretty fun.
DAY 2 - Was a more of the same, since she had just gotten into the game it is confusing to her all the buttons, features and capabilities let alone all the new artwork that the game is sporting the visuals are impressive although a bit cartoonish, as expected, I am still impressed by the improvements in the games visuals. We played up until we needed to go to another area and we found a fishing trainer and we decided to train a little fishing after a quest to get Red fish. This Quest School of Red Snapper gave us a good feel and she kinda liked fishing and raising her skill.
RECOMMENDATIONS: If it is your first time playing, take some alone time and just work on using the character controls, the MOUSE, AWSD and getting to know the user interface.
